  • Blanke Meier Evers Attorneys advises wpd group in the acquisition of two onshore windfarms

    wpd group one of the leading German windfarm developers has acquired through affiliated companies the two wind farms Bippen and Holleben from the energy division of Portuguese Martifer group. Bippen wind farm is located in Lower Saxony and comprises twelve wind turbine generators with a rated capacity of 27.6 MW. Holleben wind farm with its 17 wind turbine generators is situated in Saxony-Anhalt and has a capacity of 25.5 MW (a total of approx. 53 MW). In the transaction wpd was advised by Blanke Meier Evers Attorneys, Bremen. Legal adviser of Martifer Group was Noerr LLP, Düsseldorf/Frankfurt am Main.

The Martifer inhouse merger and acquisition team was lead by Tiago Andrade e Sousa, Jose Leite and Alexandre Kisslinger. The team of Noerr LLP was headed by Dr. Kerstin Mast (Düsseldorf) and Dr. Till Kosche (Frankfurt), both partner Corporate, and included Lutz Enno Werner (Düsseldorf, partner, tax).
