"Basic Principles of Sales Rights" is conceived of as a medium of first resource; it provides information on all current issues regarding sales rights in actual practice. In so doing, it compares legal decisions promulgated by German courts with the decrees of member states of the European Union. The work also offers the reader cross-references and references to further pertinent literature sources, thus providing an overview of the current status of opinion in law and literature concerning disputed issues in the topics area in question. The contents of the decrees are presented in the form of informative guiding principles with commentaries. This gives the reader quick access to the needed information in concentrated form.

The database is conceived not only for members of the legal and tax advisory professions and the legal departments of companies. Rather, more and more frequently it is also being used by commercial representatives and salespeople, i.e. those who need fast answers to legal issues in contractual sales and marketing practice and for this reason do not desire time-consuming lawyer appointments or simply do not have the time to research the literature and read lengthy legal texts.
